XTools Pro Navigator

 

 

Purpose

 

XTools Pro Navigator provides an alternate look and feel of XTools Pro. It is an additional convenient way to access all XTools Pro functionality.

 

 

Description

 

With XTools  Pro Navigator you can access XTools Pro tools and features in a new way. You can have all the functionality right under your hand - always visible, no browsing through menus. And you can create and manage a list of your favorite tools and features for easy and fast access.

 

 

Using XTools Pro Navigator

 

The Navigator button is available from the XTools Pro toolbar, pressing the button shows/hides the Navigator dockable window.

 

 

XTools Pro Navigator is a dockable window with all the XTools Pro tools and features grouped according to the toolbar menus. Two tabs are available in the Navigator window:

• All items

- this list contains all XTools Pro tools and features applicable at the moment

• Favorite items

- this is the list of your favorite and often run tools and features

 

      

 

The advantage of the Navigator is that there are no menus (you are just one click away from the tools) and you only see those tools that can be applied now, according to the data added in the map. Another advantage is the list of your favorite tools and the list of the often run tools.

 

All the tools and features can be viewed as thumbnails, tiles, icons or details:

 

 

Managing a list of Favorite tools and features.

 

While the often run tools list is populated statistically (you do not manage it) the list of you favorite tools is managed manually by the user. You can right click on any tool from the All items tab or on any of the Often run tools and select to Add it to Favorites. Same way you can remove it from Favorites - right click on the favorite tool in the Favorite tools tab and select to Remove from Favorites.
