Purpose

 

Metadata template editor is provided for customizing XTools Pro metadata templates.

 

 

Description

 

XTools Pro Metadata Editor comes with ready to use templates (one template per metadata standard). These default templates are aimed for general purpose use, they include all usual or required metadata sections and properties. On the other hand, you might wish to simplify the template and remove unnecessary sections/panels. Or, on the contrary, you might need to add some custom properties to your metadata. All this can be accomplished with the Metadata template editor.

 

 

Customizing XTools Pro Metadata templates

 

To customize metadata template go to the Customize XTools Pro, select Metadata Editor and press the "pencil" button in the Metadata Template Customizer field:

 

 

The Metadata Template Customizer window will open:

 

 

Making required changes you can save as many templates as required. Then you can select which one of them will be used instead of the Default one.
