Extract Map: Selecting layers to be extracted

 

 

After the extraction boundaries are defined, it is necessary to select layers to be extracted. One of the following options can be selected:

 

• Visible layers

- This option allows extracting only visible layers in the map and is activated if there is at least one visible layer in the map. To make a layer visible mark the checkbox of this layer in the TOC window. To make the layer invisible unmark the checkbox of this layer in the TOC window.

 

• All layers

- This option allows extracting all map layers available in the TOC window.

 

• Selected layer(s) only

- This option allows extracting only those layers selected in the TOC window. This option is inactive if no layer is selected in the TOC window.

 

• Choose layer(s) from list...

- This option being selected activates a list containing all map layers. Any layers from this list can be selected for extraction.  

 

 

Additional option Drop empty layers allows to exclude empty layers from the output map (e.g. in case there were no features in some layers within the extraction area).
