Create FeatureClass/Table: Importing fields

 

 

To import attribute fields from other existing tables or feature classes press the "Import fields" button, browse and select the required table or feature class. Then from the list of the available fields select fields that you wish to import into your new feature class/table:

 

 

Selecting fields you may select all the fields or only some fields, or you may also clear selection. Having made the required selection press "OK" and selected fields will be added into the list of the fields of your new feature class/table:

 

 

Then in addition you may want to view or modify parameters of the imported fields:

 

 

Note:

If you selected and imported Shape field then it will replace the default Shape field.
