ArcMap crashes since XTools installation |

Hi, I installed XTool 2.0.1 to ArcMap 8.3. Now, everytime I save a .mxd file ArcMap crashes and then will not let me reopen, displaying error "Invalid ArcMap Document". MXD Doctor fixes but again cannot save document?? Can anyone help?? |

Claire,
Did you make sure that this started to happen after you installed XTools Pro 2.0.1? Could you try to temporarily uninstall XTools Pro and see if the problem disappears?
I would suggest also contact us by email xtoolspro@dataeast.ru, if this is the XTools Pro problem we might need more details.

We are having a similar issue. Since installation of XTools 2.x from 1.1, work stations are not able to do anything. Simply adding a layer or data to the map caused ArcMap to crash. Uninstalled v2 and reinstalled v1 and problem is gone. |

I guess in your case this is the problem that existed in XTools Pro 2.0. Then this problem was fixed in 2.0.1. As well this should not happen with the latest XTools Pro 2.1. So I would suggest you to download 2.1 version and give it a try, it should work (otherwise please let us know).
